Their main objective is to disseminate knowledge throughout the world to follow a few steps to save our planet from harmful chemicals. These and several other organizations working together to share their knowledge on how to make paper and printing techniques such as going green.

Organizations and committees have put in place to monitor the standards followed by the printing industry. The rankings are provided for industries through the various steps that have been defined by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). Some reference points are established that are generally accepted and practiced worldwide, followed by the printing industry and such an organization whose primary work is involved in printing. Other materials that come into contact during the printing process and after the printing process are strictly observed by the committees.
